Sembalun village day tour covers sightseeing, nature, history, and tradition. You will be picked up at 08.00 AM from your hotel in Mataram or Senggigi. The first to visit is Baun Pusuk, then continue the ancient Mosque in Bayan Village. After that continue to Sembalun Village, here you will visit Traditional Village, Desa adat Sembalun. After that hike to Selong Hill or Bukit Selong.
Baun Pusuk is located between West Lombok and North Lombok, this is the famous monkey forest on Lombok Island. You need 30 to 45 minutes to get there in the car.
The Ancient Mosque in Bayan Village is the first Mosque built in Lombok which was built in the 17th century. The mosque is also the inclusion of historical evidence of Muslims in Lombok. Inside the mosque also has a tomb of the first propagator of Muslims in Lombok. Locals also named this Mosque Masjid Bayan Belek.
Sembalun Village is located in East Lombok, about 3 hours from Senggigi or Mataram. The village is famous for farming such as strawberry farms, carrot farms, etc. The beautiful scenery with the background of Mount Rinjani makes this village one of the favorite tourist destinations in Lombok.
Desa Adat Sembalun, or common call by local Desa Belek, is the oldest village found in Sembalun. It is very historical according to the people in Lombok. This village was found as the first village in Sembalun. There were living only seven married couples with have no children onwards. After that, they moved to Sembalu Village which is well known as one of the best destinations in Lombok.
Selong Hill or Bukit Selong are located in Sembalun Lawang Village. You will have to do soft trekking to get here. The things you can get here are beautiful paddy down the hill with beautiful mountain background. Here is also one of the great sunset points.
